American Grant Writers' Association, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit corporation and is a 501(c)6 exempt organization.  To promote professional conduct of our 1,200 active members, the organization adopted Standards of Practice and Professional Ethics.  To further the professional growth of its members, the organization awards the Certified Grant Writer® Credential to members who have demonstrated proficiency in grantseeking.  In 2011 the U.S. Patent Office awarded American Grant Writers' Association a Trademark for its Certified Grant Writer® Credential. 

The organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Current Board Members are
